The cost of a Non-Resident Application is $25.00. Deadline to apply is May 29, 2026 at Midnight Eastern time. To be eligible, applicants MUST be 16 years of age by the application deadline. Anyone who has obtained a permit in 2023, 2024 or 2025 is NOT eligible to apply for a permit OR accrue a point in 2026. If you do not receive a confirmation e-mail, call 603-271-2461 Monday thru Friday, 8am - 4pm (EST). DO NOT REAPPLY as moose lottery applications are non-refundable. If you submit more than one application, you will not be refunded.

Residency

In order for points to be tracked accurately, applicants are required to provide either their driver's license or a state-issued non-driver ID number. Bonus points will be assigned to the number on your application whether your driver's license number or state-issued non-driver's ID number has changed. This applies to ALL applicants, including those who have just turned 16 years of age.

Mailing Address

If your name or mailing address has changed since you last applied to the lottery, please e-mail linda.verville@wildlife.nh.gov immediately after submitting this application with the old and new information. This will assist in properly updating your bonus points.
